A blog for my lyrics/poetry. Typically, I write about dark things such as nihilism, the occult, social commentary, introspection etc.
This is definitely not a “traditional haiku” by any means. The style of haiku I’m sorting of drawing influence from here would be Jack Kerouac’s “haikus” as he called them. A style which sort of allows a little bit more autonomy over the structure. The actual content of the poem, was inspired by the thought that voting for either Biden or Trump is like picking which piece of shit smells better.

I am a poet, musician, sideshow performer, and songwriter based in Denver, CO. I have an experimental solo-project called Tantrik Nihilist and I play in a hardcore punk band called Caltrops. I will primarily be posting poetry and lyrics on here. Although, I do have writings in other styles that will published. Topics I primarily influenced by (or write about) various esoteric, occult, and religious philosophies, particularly Hindu Tantra and Magick. I’ve always been interested deeply in history, the avant-garde, and various sciences, which has certainly impacted my writing. I certainly write a lot of sociologically and politically charged material as well. Particularly in Caltrops.
